Reverso Tribute Monoface - a calm Sunday watch

This small, quiet Reverso still makes me smile. Simple (in the elegant way) and very comfortable to wear. Extra smiles generated by the dial and the applted markers. Coming from a Reverso Grande GMT with 8 days of autonomy, the downside is a fairly low (a

Agree! The Grande GMT might be the quintessential Reverso…

Here are pics of mine on the very-rarely seen 5-link bracelet. I really appreciate the differential subdial showing difference from home when traveling. -Dean

Preaching to the choir here - but this is such a brilliant watch

When JLC moved to the XGT case size many years ago it gave them a bigger stage for their amazing skills. Not only did it allow them to put in an 8-day movement. It also allowed them to get creative with the complications. In the Grande GMT here, we’re loo

I really like the Septantieme, but it was a bit too big for me.

I wanted the Septantieme and the Grande GMT to work on my wrist, but they were both too big for me. Fortunately, the time-only Grand Taille size works beautifully on my wrist. The 1990s limited edition Reverso models were the first watches that got me exc

JLC Grande GMT 240.8.18

Hi: Off on a trip soon...taking this bad boy to show Local Time on the front and Home Time on the back. Some comments: The Power Reserve dial hand is nearly black and quite difficult to see on the black face. GMT seems to be an important function of this

Did I mention that I love Reversos?

A couple of quick snaps of my growing Reverso family. A Tribute to 1931, NY Boutique Edition, a Reverso Chronographe Rétrograde, a Grande GMT and the newest addition, a Tribute Monoface. Looking across the four watches, I am amazed by the family resemblan

Hi Tony.

I had this for a while in SS and ended up gifting it to my son. The case size was larger than my Grande GMT - my fault for not checking as I assumed they’d be the same size. Also, the day and month windows are very small - as well as the date indicator. G

Enough Grande Taille, now for some XGT

What a crazy article shared earlier this week with no less than 60 Grande Taille models. What came after that case size was not too shabby either. I can only share one of them, but there are many more models. This is the Grande GMT with not only a good nu

Plans for next week?

Well, my plans are right here in the photo. Will be wearing Reversos for the next many days. Three generations shown here - the Reverso Chrononographe Retrograde in its GT case, the Reverso Grande GMT in its XGT case and then the Reverso Tribute to 1930 i

Great straps too! I should get myself a brown suede strap!

The Grande GMT is another favorite of mine although it's a little big on my wrist. I very nearly made the Grande GMT my first watch! I was a fan of the Reverso since I was ten years old! Somehow I ended up with a Patek as my first watch instead. And the C
